Multiple Pygmy Angels?
Has anyone been successful keeping more than 1 pygmy angel in the same tank? If so, what are the species and how large is your tank?

What is the difference between a pygmy and a dwarf? I have a coral beauty now and was considering trying to add a flame angel to a 125. How long has your angels been together in bliss?

So, you were not too interested in testing them out in your reef tank? So far, the coral beauty seems completely uninterested in softies & LPS in the tank. Hope the flame would be similar. Any thoughts on the flame angel in a reef tank? Thanks.

Casey,
Hmmm thanks for the info. I will have to think about it. I might not be as lucky as I have been with the coral beauty. Plus I have not yet added SPS to tank, hopefully coral beauty will ignore them as well.

I have two dwarf angels in my 60g reef and so far seem to have luck. The potters angel was in there for a couple years and a month ago I added a flame angel. He was picked on at first but seems to be doing fine now, except when he gets too close to the potters.

you ever seen the Marshall Island Flame Angel. Look almost exactly like the indo flames, but their stipes on the side are much wider and a more vibrant deep royal blue.
Yes, we have been able to keep Flames, pygmy's and coral beauties in the same tank with no problem. What you have to watch out for is the same body style. None of these have the same body style/shape.

The loriculus i am not too concerned about, the key will be getting a nice flameback C acanthops or whatever the name is changed to now. I rarely see them down here and the few i have looked so bad . If you can get these in a bout a month or so, PM or email me
