Male or Female Clownfish

Is there any way to tell, I realize that their sex is dependant on the dominant fish but after this happens is there any way to tell which is which?

In a true pair of clowns, the bigger of the two is the female.

A high majority of the time the female will get bigger and the male will be the smaller one.

Ditto, on what has been said above. I have a breeding pair of False Percs and the female is literally twice the size of the male. Poor guy!

Physical differances, other than size, will only be visible when breeding. The females ovipositor will drop and be visible for the duration of the spawning.
