Hey Mike - thanks!!

Man, those are some good looking fish! Do you have a pic of the third? I think your pics help me make my next fish purchase choice.

Just a thought though... from what I remember, the females are more of a yellow color and the male is more red/orange. If that third one is red/orange, you may have the 2 females you ordered! See about getting that pic when you get a chance if you don't mind. Thanks again!

the third is hard to get a pic of it usually doesnt flash and when it does it real fast and thats it not enough time to get the camera out LOL. and when its just swimming you cant really make out the colors it has.
the third has a little more reddish =color and more purple tail and top fin that is sorta spiked. it has the normal fin with extra extensions that come off that are longer. I have been looking for a website that has pics of them but they only have pics of the ones like I posted so I still dont know if what I got as far as Male and Female just quesing though.
it was supposed to be 2 females and one male and the third is deffinately dofferent than the other 2. I will try to get a picture of it but I cant gurantee it LOL

what I can find out about them is that after they get adpated to the tank they are a real good choice for a reef. the are very active fish that usually stay in the open. the coax other fish out that are shy and timid ( I didnt beleive that one but my coral B angel rarely come out and a few days after ading these guys he is out all the time now). they are prone to jump so a cover of some kind is needed for them. the ones that I have eat anything that hits the water and really go after aquid and mysis more than anything else. they are usually in a group together in a part f the aquarium every now and then one strays off but not for long and they swim all over the tank.I am very happy with these guys and would suggest them to add color and activeity to a tank. the only thing is that they can be an agrresor towards other wrasses and blennies I think.

There are quite a few different species of "flasher" wrasses, all of them very colorful, the males especially. The males will keep their color high if they can show off to the females Flashers along with most of the fairy type wrasses are pretty docile and are easily bullied. Put these guys in first if you're going to house pugnacious fish with them. They're mid-level plantivore feeders in the wild, if I remember right, and they'll fade away pretty fast if they are harrassed enough to keep in hiding and not come out to eat.

Stunning fish. Had one once that jumped. I've always wanted a group of them because of their social nature and displays.

Definitely a Paracheilinus sp. but can't nail it down to Carpenter, Mcosker's or some other sp. but they're all just great in the reef, just a bit shy like Alice mentioned, and can easily be bullied.

Fish guide says:

Paracheilinus carpenteri - Indonesia and Phillipines
- varied meaty diet
- good in small groups, add all at once or females first
- shy, add first to tank. Easily bullied
