If I got an angel, would it be one?

I want an angel so bad. The 2 I'm interested in is the swallowtail, or the cherub. But I'm afraid I might get THE bad one. I have read up on both but need input, please!

cherub's are way cool and if you have a large enough tank you can even get 2... be sure to add at same time.. I would call the 75 borderline in size for 2 tho..

The cherub I saw today was soooooo cute! Only about an inch long and VERY shy. I read that they can be tyrants though, I have watchman gobies, SPS, LPS and clams. I just wonder.
This is what I need in this situation.
SOMEONE TO MAKE MY MIND UP FOR ME!!!! LOL

Swallowtail is absolutely reef safe. They are stunningly beautiful too... I like females better than males, they are almost a "neon" blue... but not... hard to explain unless you see one. Cherubs are OK ... but wouldn't trust it around clams.

I agree about the female being beeeuteeful! I love how the colors are sort of the color only not. Get Me? Kinda baby blue and soft yellow then a rosey pink. And when they swim they actualy look like a swallow flying. Just lovely. My LFS still has both. I have been eyeing them for about 2 weeks. I think my fav is the swallowtail also.

I've got a Majestic in my reef...

I saved hif from being euthenized as he had bad eye fungus and had stopped eating... I fixed up the eye fungus and he's now eating again... He's still very timid after living blind for a couple of months, but settling in nicely.... Haven't seen him nibbling on anything yet...

i had a G. melanospilis. great fish. mine died from the same thing that got my Foxface. great fish, like JennM said reef safe. never bothered anybody. i may get a G. bellus next.

all Genicanthus start out female then will turn to male when fully grown. right before mine died i thought i started seeing some of this change. the yellow was starting to fade and bars may have been hinting along its body.
