how/where do lawnmower blennys sleep?

I have a pretty open rock structure in my tank (another way of saying, I dont have a whole lot of rock!). This morning I couldnt find my LMB anywhere, I searched high and low, but after a few minutes of lights on, there he was. Do they sleep buried in the sand or anything? just curious.

glad he made it throught that bag deal...

i have some nice "holely" base rock that mine likes to "perch" in.. sometimes when the lights come on in the morning i can find him on top of the powerhead..

Yes they do sleep.. only when you are not looking though...

M&M do they get along with each other ok?

Quite a few times I have searched for my blenny and thought he did thee old hop out of the tank trick. He hides extremely well mine like to stick to the side of the rocks and blend in. Once I literally looked for 20 mins on the floor and figured the cat got him. Only to come back later and see him chomping away at algae.

They often find holes in the rocks to sleep in, and its even harder to spot them when they do as they may only have the slightest bit of their body sticking out.
As you say, is hard enough to spot them anyway, let alone when they dont want to be seen.
