Midas Blenny.
Super social great color [at least on mine ] ... always out at the front of the tank ... comes over to greet me more than my cat.
For second, I'd have to go with a Fairy Wrasse, just so darn pretty.

that's my fishy! if you go to the thread called 'need moral support,' you can see a dark blue blob on my full tank pic, and thats my fishy too. or, you could cut and paste the link of the bottom of my signature line, and theres a pic of him there too! latin name is assessor macneilli or something like that!

Achilles Tang... link to pic:

i'll never be able to own one unless i win a lot of money... besides i don't expect my hubby to put up with the size tank i'd need to keep one and the expense to run and 'decorate' it.
don't suppose there any smaller, easy-keeper fish that look a LOT like 'em?

Ummm..... Can't think of one, but green and blue chromis are awesome and they shoal! I don't have any, but have seen a lot. I'm telling you, Lawnmower blennys are awesome. You may have already seen this one, but his name is Bob. And he has attitude. He's a couch potato who has a knack for algae!

Can you keep Lawnmower blennies in a small tank? (15 gallon), or midas blennies? do they require the natural food like mandarins and dragonets?

Oh, i forgot about that! They might be a bit big. What about firefish, dartfish, or wonderful oscellaris clowns?

I'm thinking a purple firefish...but the only one I saw at one of my LFS's was $80...is that how much they run, or was that store out of its mind?

For a Nano tank i would buy a Fire fish or some Clown gobys.
As far as my favorites, well that depends on the tank I have them in. Heres my top ten.
#1 Blue Striped Clowns or True Percs with lots of Black markings.
#2 Midas Blenny (if you can get a really Peach colred one)
#3 Bi Colored Angel
#4 Powder Blue
#5 Flame back angel
#6 Pygmy angel (mine is a Pimp daddy...Fun to watch)
#7 Six line Wrasse
#8 Disbar Anthinas
#9 Purple Tang
#10 Fire Fish
Oh, then there is that Flame Hawk, Flame Angel, Hippo, Chevron, Assessor.......................................... .................
I cant decide, I just need a bigger tank.

Our favorite is our Atlantic Pygmy Angel. Good colors, lot's of energy, lot's of personality, and get's along with just about everybody.
