its beautiful and very healthy looking. I love the way the yellow is almost irridescent on those fish. Almost makes me with i had aiptasia for it to eat....almost!

Sorry about yours Johnny

Icebear- There aren't any aiptasia left in the tank. He readily accepts mysis and our homemade mush. He's also decimated the bristleworm and fanworm population . He's worth it though.

Thumbs up

So Brooke... are you saying that it is possible to get these great fish to eat ? I have wanted to get one for along time now but... heard that they are impossible to feed once the aptasia is gone. I feed a large variety of foods, frozen as well as flake and mush. Maybe when I get back from vacation in two weeks I'll order one. And let's not forget that my birthday is on the 27th if any of my friends and neighbors want to pick one up for me. Hint, hint, Jeff, Brad, Joy, Jim and anyone else.

Scott-

It is possible to get these guys to eat food other than aiptasia. I think a lot of it is getting a healthy specimen. We got ours from The Marine Center. It's the only fish we've ordered from them, but I will definately order from them again.

It took the butterfly about 2 weeks to take frozen food. I just kept hoping, then one day I noticed he was eating mysis.

Ms. Ree Ree-

As far as I know the butterfly will not eat clams. We have 2 clams in the tank and they don't have any bit marks . They can eat your LPS corals, however. I still recommend keeping these guys mainly in a FO set-up.

Nice looking Copperband Brooke. I love these guys. I have had mine for about 4 weeks now, also from The Marine Center. It has a bit of Lymphocystis which I hope will clear up soon ... But it has been eating frozen foods after about day 2 since I have had him. And now, I make sure he gets food first by hand feeding it. Yep, he will come eat right out of my hand ... too cool.

You have a beautiful fish there, I hope mine grows up to be as healthy looking.
