Copperband
I finally picked one up after waiting quite some time and I know that they can be picky eaters. He seems to be picking away and eating some brine shrimp after the first day. Are there any other suggestions for feeding him.
P.S. my goby is a tank and a camera hog.

Quit it casey! Well I have had a copperband for quite some time now and I had it eating frozen mysis shrimp for awhile which if I were you would do the same thing.
After that I would make a "mush" like MNreefman(Clint) has suggested and stop feeding the tank for 3-4 days and then drop in some mush and hopefully like mine did he went after the mush like it was candy(probably more like starving) but now the copperband eats both the mysis shrimp and mush and is very healthy!
Here is a pic of mine:

I put all the ingredients in a blender and blend it up with some RO water or tank water and make sure to get one or two raw shrimp when you make it as this stuff acts like a binding agent and keeps it together really well and spread it out in a freezer bag and then freeze it and when ready to feed the tank break off a chunk to feed.
This is really potent stuff and make sure you rinse all the ingredients before blending it and feed maybe once or twice a week in between other stuff that you feed. It is great for corals as well especially sps corals and lps corals!

Yeah I know what you mean about that!
Can put in some nori(seaweed from health food store) and some garlic liquid which I plan to do with my next batch. Helps fish fight off infections, etc.

Just tell'em what it's for. Bound to have been a reefer in there before you! Only thing they wouldn't give me was 3 oysters. So I went to an oyster bar and ordered a dozen. My wife ate 9 and I carried home three! (As you might note, I do not eat oysters.)
I was really lucky. They even had mullet roe. I think that's what makes the fish go nuts.
By the way. I've been highly desirous (my wife would say lusting)of a copper band. No fears of them eating zoanthids? I could bid adieu to all the little featherdusters, but what about my Giant Hawaiian? Those darn fish are just soooooo pretty.

Yeah yardboy I am afraid your large feather duster would be in trouble. I moved mine to my wife's tank!

Nice specimen! Looks fat and healthy!
Try some mysis shrimp. It's very nutritious, contains lots of protein and Omega 3 fatty acids. Even the pickiest fish eat the stuff, even seahorses and pipes.
Cheers,
Jenn
