Clownfish acting strange.

All day today my percula clown has been staring at the corner of the tank. Sometimes he lays up against the corner of the glass about mid way up the tank. I've never seen anything like it. He is eating fine and reactive to me when I step up to the glass. Anyone seen this type of behavior in clowns before? I hope he hasn't lost his mind...

that all seems like normal clown behavior to me...

Mine swim up and down in the front corner of the tank all the time...

To be honest with you, it's the reason why clowns are not my particular favorite. (Hope I don't offend thee) They seem to be the only fish (besides extra large ones) with their nose-to-glass bumping, who remind me that I'm looking at an enclosed space and not a slice of true reef. So, basically, I agree with the above. Sounds like a clown to me.

Unfortunatly, I have to agree with Scotty. Same characteristics of my clowns. Once they are a bit larger, they tend to wonder the tank more often ... However, even when they get larger, they still have the characteristics of "starring at the corner of the tank" from time to time. I have a pair. I have been contemplating on returning them to but they are too darn cute and I don't have the heart to take them out of the tank. I wish I got a pair of less aggressive (LOL) Maroon clowns instead.

Best of Luck,

Arbi
