Clown fish hosting with Toadstool Leather

Our new tank raised clown fish have decided that our toadstool leather is the perfect host. The leather is not to happy with the deal and closes up where ever they touch. Here is a picture.

Worried about the leather

As you can see in this second picture the leather has close completely. Will it adjust to the clowns attention or starve itself while closed?

Keep an eye on it, my leather got use to the clown, and even now, will stay open with the fish playing around inside. Adorable arn't they when they play in the toadstool?

But, like I said, just keep an eye on it.

Yeah I am not too worried. It looks more often like the first picture then the second. So I guess it will not starve, but I wanted an excuse to show off our babies. We have a pair of them. I am trying to talk the wife into naming them Princess Toadstool and Super Mario. I think they are fitting names

HAHHAHA! I don't blame you for wanting to show them off, Phyto. Cute pictures. I love clowns.

One of my clowns hosted the Toadstool also. The first week it looked like yours in the first picture but now the Toadstool doesn't seem to mind one bit. The clown just "wallers" all in it and the leather never closes at all. Gotta love it.

That's cute! My oscies loved a colt coral and even began spawning at its base. We had the colt for about 2yrs and then it died, but the oscies didn't take long finding a new home! The sleep in the xenia and lounge in the frilly 'shrooms by day.
