Cherub angel...

Well tha cherub angel that i bought turned out not to be so angelic, it seems hes now got a taste for leather coral. So my question is how should i catch this guy? Ive tried feeding the tank and then netting him, blinding him with a flashlight then trying to net him, and just chasing him around the tank in circles.
Is there any DIY traps that any of you know of?

TIA

The only one I know of is better suited for shrimps and worms, the plastic pop bottle with the top cut off and turned inside. You might try leaving a baited net in and let them feed from it for a while then yanking it when its guard is down.
Bumme that its developed a taste for forbidden fruit Usually they are better behaved

You might try calling your LFS. They may have a fish trap you can borrow.

Sorry you've got to fish her out.

no two fish have the same personality. i have a powder blue tang that loves star polyps. i dont know if he likes the taste or just wants to see them float around the tank.

I have had very good luck removing fish from existing aquariums using a fairly large butterfly net, I place small amounts of food in the tank slowly, this will bring the fish to the surface, then as swiftly as possible without making a mess scoop the unsuspecting coral muncher out. You will only have one chance, if this fails the first time you will have to wait quite some time to try again.
