Banded Pipefish in a reef?

I saw a pair today and came home to do some research on them. Has anyone kept these in the reef? Are they reeef safe? Or are they more like seahorses and need to be kept in a species tank with lower flow?

Oh never mind I just read that they should not be kept with stinging corals or anemones. And they shouod be in a species tank.
