Baby Clown Fish - Day 26
Twenty Six Days Old - 1/21/02
They don't look much different than the picture last week. However, they are actually twice the size. They now hang out together in a big ball in a corner. They recongnize me when I come to feed them. If there is a sudden noise (or I close the lid too loudly) they all jump back into the corner together as if they were connected with string.

When I try to count them I lose track in the thirties (with them moving around). Based on that I think there are about 50.

Turns out I am way off. I took a picture of them today and printed it. I was able to count from the picture (they are not swimming!) and I came up with 130.
So my wife was right, she said it was over 100.
I went to my LFS today with a picture and showed them to him. He said they have very good marking and color. He said he would buy them when they are ready (about 1/2 inch - which should be about 3 months old).

Too cool....it's so great to see people taking the extra effort & $$$$ to breed fish & propogate corals. It really makes me feel better about getting into this hobby. So far all I have are captive bred fish (except for the blenny) and my next addition is going to be a captive bred pair of banggais.
