Is it LxWxH in inches/231 to get volume in gallons?

I guess my new 100g eel tank just turned into a 75 ... the 18" depth and 60" length suckered me in, but it's only 16" tall... poo.

Thats OK, eels are kinda long and thin, it should be perfect
