Krazy Glue???
I thought I saw a post back about gluing frags with Krazy Glue. Is this stuff OK for a reef tank? I have a couple very small frags of frogspawn, and every time a crab or snail comes by, it knocks it off the rock. I was planning on gluing it to the rock to keep from having to find it on the bottom of my tank. Thanks

I use superglue gel for most frag-to-rock attachments (the cyanoacrylate stuff). Plumber's epoxy also works well to attach rock to rock. For the frogspawn, I'd probably use the epoxy, as it will set and cure underwater. Superglue is a PITA and unpredictable underwater.
Oh, the epoxy is a 2-part stick you just mash together until mixed. It's also semi-permanent, meaning that you can get the rocks apart after the fact if you need to, but it's still pretty strong.
HTH,
Danielle

I'm with Danielle on the SuperGlue... It's half the price of crazy glue...
It's the double pack with the black top, yellow bottom... Super Glue is written in white letters, and Gel is written in red..

My only reason is I have a tube of Krazy Glue in front of me....I think I'll let the frags float around rather then put something bad into the water

Krazy Glue is fine... it's just a bit tougher to work with than the gel...
With the Gel, I put a blob on the rock and stick the frag into the blob... with regular crazy glue, you need to apply the glue to the frag and then stick it to the rock... you also may need to apply more glue at the contact point to make sure it sticks... Rock is porous and absorbs the glue quickly... With the gell, it sets there and hardens where it's placed....
