Glue and silicon question

hey guys quick question, I need to get silicon for adding baffles and what not to a sump and refugium do I need to get a special kind or can I get any regular clear silicon.
I have planned on using superglue gell to glue the baffles in place and then silicon seal the edges
the sump and refugium are both glass tanks.

Hey Clay! I believe I have seen other posts where on the tube it says for aquarium use! I have never used it so I am sure others will respond! Johnny

I have 3 homemade sumps(aka old glass tanks). The ONLY silicone i have used is 100% silicone(ge, ace, dap) just as long as it's 100% and does not have any algecides, or any mildew resistant stuff in the ingredients.

It also says safe for food contact.

If you buy the stuff that says "Aquarium sealant" you might as well just buy a new sump because it costs about $5 for a dinky tube and you'd have to buy a case of it.

3.99 for 1 calk tube and you're set!!!
