all yo' silly acronyms

sometimes the amount of acronyms on this list makes me feel like i am in the military. i've figured out several of them, and i was hoping i could be corrected if i am wrong, and have others post some definitions to help newbies like me.

here's what i (think i) know so far:
RO= reverse osmosis
DI- deionized
NO= normal output?
VHO= very high output?
PC- power compact
SG= spec. gravity

i've figgered out that LPS and SPS refer to soft/hard coral, right?
LFS- i get what it is, but what does it stand for? local fish store?

thanks again for all the help you've contributed in only the week or so i've been here. if anyone has any questions about muscle physiology in microgravity, ask away. haha.

here's what i (think i) know so far:

RO= reverse osmosis YEP
DI- deionized YEP
NO= normal output? YEP
VHO= very high output? YEP
PC- power compact YEP
SG= spec. gravity YEP

i've figgered out that LPS and SPS refer to soft/hard coral, right? YEP
LFS- i get what it is, but what does it stand for? local fish store? YEP

RO - reverse osmosis water (i.e. filtered, purified water).
DI - deionized water (i.e. filtered, purified water).
RO/DI - Technically, I believe it means water which has first run through an RO filter then run through a deionizer. However, many folks use this acronym to identify either RO or DI water.

MORE...
LS - Live Sand
LR - Live Rock
LFS - Local Fish Store
MH - Metal Halide
PC - Power Compact Flourescents
VHO - Very High Output Flourescents
NO - Normal Output Flourescents
NSW - Natural Sea Water
SG - Specific Gravity
Ph - ummm, Ph
Alk - Alkalinity
KW and Kalk - Kalkwasser
FO - Fish Only
FOWLR - Fish Only with Live Rock
SPS - Small Polyped Stony Coral
LPS - Large Polyped Stony Coral
Shrooms - Mushrooms
MO - mail order

Might be internet jargon but these come up a lot:
JMO - Just my opinion.
IMO - In my opinion.
IMHO - In my humble opinion.
JME - Just my experience.
IME - In my experience.
