Don't know the name brand, but you can go to most hardware stores and buy epoxi that comes in like a clay form. This epoxi is in like a roll form, brown outside, and pinkish in the middle. You simply cut the amount you may need and knead it together. It works well, does not harm your reef.

More specific names would be great. I just got a frag and would like to glue it to a certain piece I have.

Any brand of super glue gel will work. The insides are all the same just the name is changed to confuse the buyer...

as long as it is a cyanoacrylate glue you should be fine. Are you glueing a hard or soft coral, I find it better to let softies attach on their own either with rubber bands or some type of mesh.

Also, do I just take the frag out, put some glue on the bottom and stick it to where I would like it to be ?

That looks like a Goniapora, flower pot coral. If it is a "goni" it is one creature and not a frag. Do the "arms/tenacles/polyps" extend out, say up to 5"-6"?

I used an apoxy when I glued my frogspawn down. I got it at the hard ware store for 9 bucks. It came in a dual tube form made for use to glue while in water. That way I didn't have to pull any thing out of the tank. The apoxy set in 2 minutes and harmed nothing in my tank. I would say just read up on whatever you use to make sure it won't release toxins. The stuff I got claimed that it was safe for any under water use and that all it would release would be heat from the curing process.

For underwater applications I have found that plumbers epoxy putty works best. I use Devcon which is available from the hardware store. It's the same stuff sold in LFS as Aquastick but much cheaper.

They have only reach about 2". But they where only under light for about an hour. They are attached to a rock and I wanted to glue that piece to a piece of my LR. Could that work ?
