Replenshing Evaporated water

When you replenish your evaporated water for the week, do you add the kalkwasser mix directly to this water? Also if you do, how much do you add at a time? I know it is bad to just dump this water in so how do you do it. I am not looking to buy a calcium reactor and it is also out of my price range. Thanks

I think most people do it daily with RO/DI water. Here's the basics.

Add about 1-2 tsp of Kalk to a gal of water and stir a little. Using airline tubing and something to restrict the flow (can just be a cheap plastic air line valve or a knot tied in the end), drip it slowly into a high flow area of the sump or tank.
