Garbage cans?
Ok I will be picking up my RO/DI unit tomorow and once i get it all goin I will have to start makin water to get this tank goin I plan on using plastic garbage cans (new ones) as a place to hold the water as it drips outta the RO/DI unit. I have seen some ppl say that there is a diffence in types of plastics. Is that something I should be worring about? Are there diffrent types that are more suitable for holding water that will be used in a reef tank?

WW Grainger sells some rubbermaid recepticles that are USDA rated for food use......that is the best choice...not too bad on price either.....I have two and they work great.

Yup , go to the HD on 30 in Merriville/Hobart(what ever they are calling today )
on the roller base deal,,,it's extra,,,it's above where the cans are( across from the far right wall of the store b4 you go into the Garden center part)
they twist and lock onto the bottom of the can,,,make sure you get the right base for the can,,,think there are a couple different sized ones there,,,,i got the 55g size,,,,NICE!

Tim , from what i've done with mine (just moving it a lil) it seems to move pretty well considering the weight, the acid test will be when the 200 and the other tanks will be downstairs , and i can move the water to the tanks,,,
