Our False Perculas laying eggs right now!!!!!

They've cleared a spot in the yellow polyps and are laying and fertilizing eggs now and have been for the past several minutes!!

Pics to come later tonight.
I also shot some beautiful close-up video!

So cool! Troy is home and he discovered the event!

Is it even remotely possible we could feed these guys and save them? Yes, the polyp rock is small enough and located such that it would be a cinch to remove from the tank. Yes, I have The Clownfishes book by J. Wilkerson.

Congratulations Shirley. I can't wait for the pics. You have the clownfish bible so you better get busy with the rotifers.

We have a successful clownfish breeder here at TRT. http://www.thereeftank.com/forums/sh...?threadid=5697

I can't make the green water to feed the rotifers...I've already been to Inland Aquatics and seen their huge lab and green-water-makers....

Anyone live near here that has experience and can raise them????? Or near St. Louis??? We'll be on I-44 just west of St. Louis Fri - Sat.

Pics coming in awhile, but not immediately...

Thanks, Rick! I printed it out and gave it to Troy and Steve....

Here's the first of four pics....out of about 40! The video is SO much better at telling the story!

This is SO exciting...and I really would like to save them...we have an extra 30G-long and a large hob skimmer...and a variety of misc pumps and lights....and a stand for the 30G....
