Biotopes

OK, I remember back in my FW days there were "biotopes" you could replicate. Has anyone put together a collection of stock biotopes that we as aquarists can replicate for our tanks?

Not sure what u are talking about. Spanky's tank is a biotope of a caribean reef. Is that what u are refering to????

Bingo! Alot of FW books give you a general idea of what you find in a "brakish" biotope, or a biotope for Cichlids.

Just wondering if those templates were available w/ marine tanks.

I would be interested in seeing any biotope plans available. I believe the caribbean is the most popular for 2 reasons. The uniqueness of the creatures and the proximity(availability) to us.

Permitting for collecting is restricted to just three people right now. We're working on that but it's going to be a slow process.
