When I first looked I thought it might be Halymenis floresia, then I noticed what looked like little spines and thought it was one of the Hypnea (probably musciformis or cervicornis), then considered it's probably from aqua-cultured rock and went with my favorite Wrightiella blodgettii but there's really not enough branching, then remembered that Heterosiphonia gibbesii is often bright red also, Gracilaria cerevicornis is also found in these areas but it's a lot flatter than that, and finally settled on Eucheuma isiforme.
dawgs, it's a beautiful
red algae that a lot of people would kill for. Enjoy!!
