Satan Weed Help!

I've been battling this algae for 2-3 months now, and its spreading fast. It just keeps encrusting new rocks day by day. Not sure if you are able to tell by the picture but it a appears green-brown to my eye and prefers high light and flow. I have basically given up on manual removal. About a month and a half ago I added 60 more snails to my tank as well as 3 Emerald crabs; one of which has been banished for eating a snail. No affect.
Has anyone battled this algea? I was thinking about purchasing a yellow tang, but I'm more of a clam/SPS guy and my fish-knowledge is lacking. Please any suggestions.
What type of tang do you recommend?
How did you beat this algea?
Do you think a foxface rabbit fish would be better?
Thanks in advance for any help
Pete
My Tank specs:
72 gallon bow, 20 gallon sump, 10 gallon gravity fed refugium, another 10 gallon sump refugium, 2 x 175w 10k Ushios with 2 x 65w PC actinics, Euroreef skimmer, The tank contains: 3 clams, multiple SPS frags, 2 Green Mandarins, and a Pearly Jawfish.

I talked to someone else and he ID'd it to be Dictyota cervicornis..
Not sure who's right but this stuff certainly doesn't appear to be receeding. It's basically taking over.

If it's dictyota, fish won't eat it. You might try urchins.

Dictyota indeed.

Hand removal, siphon off all debris.

I like to remove the rock to a plastic work-basin, use a pocketknife to surgically pare off the algae. holdfast and all, rinse the rock well with saltwater (which is then discarded), then return
the rock to the display.

Thanks everyone for your input!

I hear that Naso tangs eat this stuff, but I will eventually have to return the tang to the LFS.

Horge:
Have you battled this algea personally or are you speaking from hearsay about this pocket knife idea? I willing to give anything a try, certainly if a single tang does not have to suffer from the enevitable "tank moving stress".

If this doesn't work I going to have to buy a Naso, which I really don't want.... this stinks.
Any other ideas?

Pete

Hi
I have been fighting the dictoya battle for months. The only way I have found is to manually remove it.Every few days I start pulling it out.If I miss a piece and it settles it grows I was also told a naso would eat it ,its very hard to find one small enough for a 30 gallon tank. Its gotten so bad its growing on a cucumberI cant tell you how many times I thought of tearing the tank down.I am hoping this is just one of the algae phases a tank goes through, but I dont think it is.

Don't give up guys. For some reason Dictyota will crash eventually. It will just all die at once.
