Red Slime

We have this "red slime" in the fuge and it's choking off the macro alge - looks like I did a lot of pruning.

It's only in the fuge and caught in the leaves of the algae (razor culpera)

What can we do to eliminate this?

All params are on - the last time I tested - reef tank w/Iwaski's 65k 250w, 4x URI 160w actinics, fuge on RPP 12hrs, beckett skimmer

Try increasing flow through the refugium or adding a small powerhead. Cyano likes to grow where the current is low. In the meantime you might try to suck out as much as you can from the refugium.

you also may want to try taking a couple of scoops of sand out of the display tank and putting them in the refug. there may be critters in the LS from the display that like to eat cyano.
