need to id 2 types of macro algae (with pics)

I want to research some macro algae I have growing in my refugium. The first type looks like green fishing line:

The second type looks like grapes on a vine:

The fishing line stuff grows very slow but the other stuff grows pretty fast. Will tangs eat either type? Probably not the fishing line type I'm guessing.Bob

The first looks like Chaetomorpha Linum (wire algae, Perlon algae)

The second looks a little like Caulerpa rasemosa.
the growth habit of your is like some I have under lower lighting.

I only have a Zebrasoma Xanthurum Tang that mainly eats algae's He /She does not touch the stuff.
The flame angel does not eat it but eats other algae's and the six line never touches any algae's.
i see if I can find a web site with these on them.

Good calls, Dave and Martyn
My tangs (P.hepatus) relish it, though they took time getting to know it.

Then again, I don't often feed my tangs, so they have extra incentive to seek out grub in-tank.

Dave and Martyn,
Thanks for the leads. I thought the second type was rasemosa but wasen't sure. John Rices' site was just what I was looking for Martyn. Great work. Bob
