I won't go there casey!! It's great though when us old salts can share certain stages of a reef tank development with newbies who may not know what is happening! That is what makes people on this forum unique and special! Now casey I hope you didn't get all choked up over this!

somebody pick me up off the floor. I haven't had a diatom bloom that bad in any of my tanks. Thanks for the friendly reminder of what will be coming when I get my 20L put together

actually i kind of like the diatom bloom :-) i don't particularly care for it on the glass though.. but when it's on the shells and dead corals and sponges i have in the tank, i think it adds a degree of realism to the tank. and umm, it makes fake plastic plants look not so fake either lol :-)

but uggghhhh it's nasty on the glass!!
