Good luck.

1) Best I have heard if to slowly and methodically pick them off without breaking them.

2) I have also heard of using airline tubing to syphen them out (in this case you can break the bubbles as the spores will be syphened out).

3) Mithrax crabs, if you are lucky, will eat the smaller bubbles (once you get the population under control).

4) There is also a fish, I can't remember which one right now, that will eat the bubble algae. Someone will chime in.

I hope you can beat it. I am slowly trying to conquer this beast myself.

Get yourself a Foxface Rabbit fish, and your problem will be over. We had literally thousands of bubbles, tried the Emeralds and others. But at the recomendation of someone on line here, I tried the Rabbit, it devoured them. They are reef safe, and will eat a variety of algae and other food given.

Ya I was one of those fools who thought it was pretty.... Not so pretty any more now that it is taking over....grrrr. I just get in the tank about once a week and pluck the little buggers out. I don't like crabs and I don't think a fox face could even turn around in my tank....
