How soon can I add a rose anemone to my biocube?

I have had a 50 gallon reef tank for about 1 year. I have 5 healthy rose's in it. I just recently got a 14 gallon biocube and put water from my established tank in it.The water all test good, Just wondering how long i should wait before i add an anemone? Thanks

The rule of thumb seems to be 1 year.

It can be added between 6-9 months of having it established. A year would be better though.

All depends on your knowledge and ability. If you used water from your established tank, I would be confident adding it the very same day. Just watch it and if it starts to look bad just put it back in the other tank. I don't think you would have any problems. Even better if you have close to the same lighting above both tanks. Good luck.

how much light does that biocube have? I dont think they provide enough light for an anemone.

The 14g Biocube has two 24w PC bulbs, not enough light to keep an anemone healthy for long.
