shrimp issue

ok so I know last night I said that I thought that my shrimp was killed by my emerald crab but I have found out otherwise. I found out that it was in the back by my powerhead. I was checking on something and he is there. The back has 4 chambers and each are about 5"x5" I can hardly even get a net in there. He crawls on my hands when I put them in the chamber but I can't catch him still. The other problem is that the chamber that mr shrimp is in is shaped like an L and and goes under the other 3 chambers. Any ideas on how to catch him? and no he won't go in the net if I put it in and leave it in the chamber.

If you can get the net in the chamber, try to put some food in the net then drop it in and when the shrimp goes in the net after the food, just pull the net out as fast as you can. Hope this helps.

thats great. I can get a red filter for the flashlight so he can't see the light. from what I understand they are blind to red light. I tried things like that and he would run away as soon as the light hit the water.

no go. this guy is 2 smart. I might just let him live in there and get a new shrimpy. anything that inclused putting that net in the chamber he avoids like the plague.
