Reef Safe Angel Fish?
Can anyone recommend a reef safe angel( larg). Ive been looking and their write up's say no, or with caution. I have a pygmy and he doesnt bother anything. I would really like to have one...........

the group of dwarf angels are about the only ones an still you gotta use caution . sometimes its a hit or miss

almost every flame angel i have seen in coral tanks an do fine

I agree kim, just go with something else. Angels are just such a chance, BTW I saw your fish on CL. I thought you were getting another tank???

yup, Ive decided to convert the 180 to a reef, I'm keeping my lion, black puffer,and blue throat, They say blue throat's r reef safe, so i'm going to give her a try. u know i love my fish , but i'm hooked on coral.lol. I'm going to do the black sand, i think that is sooooo pretty. I know i'm getting a false lemmon peel, they r beautiful as adult's. I might even try a powder brown again. , Sam want's to put on one of those hang on the side refugium's............

its so simple an cheap to build you own refugiums. im sure one of us can show you. i would build your own sump an refugium

yea nothing nice just some form of light its really simple . i have a refugium on both my tanks

It really is easy to build a sump/refugium. We can do it at the meeting as a DIY project!
