New to town can anyone give me the lowdown!?

Been reefing since the mid '90s. I am finally setting up this custom 30 I had built 7 years ago!

Where do we buy stuff around here? Or does everyone use online retailers?

I finally have everything to start the tank up but we are moving to a different home very soon (LONG story)

Thanks

Sure which are the good stores in JAX? I went by the lfs here and we felt like those animals needed a rescue!

I do not buy "live" rock when I start my tank. I got some of the eco rock from bulk reef this time and previously I've used marcos rock. I normally seed the tank with garf grunge. The only thing I might need is a skimmer, mine is an old sealife systems I am turning into a DIY. So we will see how that goes...

Is anyone in the club actively fragging? I hate doing mail order for live stuff. I will be running 6 t-5s on this little 30. So I should be able to keep almost anything, although I'll stay away from SPS. I have run everything except VHOs and I have to say T5s are my favorite. Low power consumption and great lighting.

The only other thing I may need is some calurpa to stock my fuge. I have run everything you can imagaine in the past so hopefully I can be some help to anyone with equipment questions

Welcome to KBMAS! If you will e-mail me your name, and the best way to get ahold of you to kbmas@ymail.com I will get you added to our mailing list and the members only section. I have SPS and LPS in my tank and do some fraggin here and there. Just let us know if you are looking for something in particular.

Thanks. Hopefully I don't run into any problems. I am hoping we are moved in about a week and I can get it going as soon as I can get my RO unit installed. It is sitting in its box.
