More teasers. So what do you get with acid baths and acrylic and a 1/2" drill bit?

No I said make rows... not a big "M" for Mikaela!

Sheesh, being a boss is tough work.

Let me side track away from the acrylic project a bit. I snapped this photo of an ORA shipment I was working on today. In it you can see our new light fixtures for the top down.

We were proud of our moving lights for the top-down systems. But we found it annoying for the customers to wait till the light got back to the coral. And, while humorous, it probably was not good when 400 watt MH pendants bumped into folks' heads.

And even further side track. Scott and I built a new rack for salt to clean up the back room a bit. Anyone want to wager which salt we use in the store?

Lots of new stuff to report:

-We love the frag racks pictured above and we are going to flush out the rest of the store with them. We will also make enough so we have some for sale!

-We have split the two top down 4'X8' tanks. One of the tanks will now be an in-store grow out. When we went to LA we picked up a whole bunch of wild acros to grow out. The objective is to have pest free corals for those who don't want to play with fire... or should I say, "Play with worms". The time frame is likely next Fall for the first batch. Everything is being run through a QT with multiple dips.
- We took all of the SPS out of the 180 for similar QT. See the 180 thread for more detail.

- Five of us took an awesome trip to LA for 8 days. We ate, visited vendors, visited fishy friends, saw the Aquarium of the Pacific & the San Diego Zoo, did some diving at Catalina, shopped China Town, and ate some more.
