Wink

Hook Line and sinker!
Judging by how long it took for me to get a few hours to post... it could be a wait If it goes a month I will make it a priority again.
I do have grand-opening party pictures ready to go. I am hoping I can find some one who could video us doing a tour. We have a few improvements to the store that need to be made first however. We ran out of storage space long ago. We are trying to aquire some adjacent warehouse space that is being underutilized by our neighbors. The other issue is our display tanks are being redone. Besides the display's being redone, the displays being back at infancy stage, and a few rearangemet projects I am very happy at how we have settled into the space.

The video would be really cool, especially for those of us that are so far away from your store.

IS an awesome store We have been open for nine months. All the selling systems are doing great, we see new customers every day, we were able to bring on a couple new part time employees, and we are having loads of fun

This Fall we are expanding our marine-fish-only products section, expanding advertising, fixing the hastily put up displays (Li is trying to get me to blog the progress on them), adding a Perfecto 300g fish-only display, and desperately trying to find more storage (I think if I start storing overstock in the bedroom....it may not bode well for me!).

One year ago. SWE Pre-Opening party

Here we are one year ago. Two months from opening. The systems were started up, product was on order, final touches were being made...and we got our "last suit you will every wear". It was time for a party

SWE is a definitely a premier store! If your visiting the twin cities skip the maga mall and go to SWE, it’s a must see. I like it so much my baby girl was almost born in Fritz’s showroom. That’s right I dragged my pregnant wife to the grand opening on her due date. A few hours earlier and my daughter would have been a natural-born citizen of Salt Water Empire!

We have been expanding our drygoods storage another 1000 sq feet! This has given us more space in the store. We have .... DUH... added grow out and frag tanks.

Here is a shot of the one... right next to my desk... gurgle gurgle.

Unlike most of our tanks this has a single overflow. This is so anemones have to go through 4 tanks before they can get sucked out to Volcano Hell... knock on wood.
