We added some decor to the tank. Here is Mr. V in front of the fake sponge.

That looks very good, and definitely gives the fish some more room to grow.

Quick update.
The Naso tangs are all recovering nicely from what every it is the Unicorn brought in with him. It is really amazing how fast life can recover. Just a month ago the flesh was bare right down to his corn-nose now there is just a faint scar.

The tank looks like crud, but we have been protectively running copper and the main filters are off line.

The crosshatch female took about three weeks to start eating, but now she is just one of the pack. It is hilarious to watch the pair trigger there selves into the rockwork. One will trigger above the fake blue sponge and one below. What is the most comical is when they look around the tank they have to pivot their whole bodies on there belly and trigger fin. Its like when I drive a car and have pulled my neck.

Fritz Jr. never ceases to please.

When a customer catches the grouper out they always take notice. Despite the tendency to hide, I am glad we added him to the system.

While the trend leans more and more to reef, there is still great value in a top notch fish only system!

Hmm, I am aparently behind on posts, it seems I haven't even had the chance to introduce some of the fish I am talking about.

Back to work!

Finally the Spotted unicorn's nose has healed enough that we feel comfortable taking the copper off line. We will be hooking up the phosphate reactor ASAP. The red slime drives me nuts. This tank relies on heavy skimming, carbon, GFO and bioballs. The fish are fine without the GFO... but it sure looks ugly. I probably won't shoot pictures of this system till it looks like the last picture

Shazam the tank sure did clean up fast after we turned the GFO reactor back on. Of course Al did a big water change and siphon as well.
