Little to update. The aquarium has a small amount of algae growing directly under the halides. We are still debating getting a third light in there or not. In some ways the center island being shadowed looks good...in some ways it looks like we were too cheep to put a third light in there. With all the other projects going on in the store we will have to put it on the back burner.
You guys are in inspiration for me. I have been in your store many times and I hope one day I am as successful as you are.
Thanks man! I don't know if you got the info, but we just expanded by adding on a warehouse. We already have some of our buddies on the North side and down south with active wholesale accounts. Next Summer I plan on getting a functional wholesale list as well. Retail is our focus this winter, but keep us in mind for your reeftank goods needs. I can certainly work out things on the fly for now.
Jeff has given us the go on the Juv. Emp. Li will be giving it a FW dip in the morning. If it passes that he will be bringing up the params out of hypo. Thanksgiving day I'm going to sneak in with Rain and enjoy the pleasure of adding the first fish to SWE's 300g tank.
Unfortunately, we have yet to find a large enough Flame Angel to keep up with the other bad boys that will go in. I'm calling CA in the morning and going to beg my rep, Jeffie is working on one of his clients who is upgrading to a reef soon and will have to part with her flame...can you say, "trade"! We will get it eventually.... but you know how it is.... I need to be patient... Ya, NOT!
So I say, "We should ask Jeffie what he thinks about having a star in the system for a while." The next thing I know there is a star in the tank... Jeffie doesn't know about it yet, so please.... shhhhh.
The next day I threw another in there since it was already too late to ask for permission properly.
