Scott and I left the rock in there a bit too long... we were called away for about 40 minutes and ... come to think of it, I have no idea how long the rock was in there. When we were done with it, much of the rock was half eaten apart. Some very expensive Marshal... sigh.
Check out this one though, very interesting mineral deposits were found.

Think we have too much flow?

Li has been working on the new controller. We wanted to have a setting that the regular Tunze controller couldn't do. He set it so as the day goes the current gets weaker, with the slowest surges happening in the middle of the night. We finally got the pumps in an arrangement where we are happy with the amount of flow and still able to keep most of the sand from moving.

Time for a cleaner crew!

It took two additions of cleaner crews to get a decent balance. I think we have it now though... or should I say, we have it good for now

With all the sand whipping around we needed to get one of the corals off the ground.... especially if we end up with any sleeper gobies to help keep the sand sparkling. Here you can see we glued a few frag disks to make a pillar. Then we put those on a sheet of acrylic. Naturally,we used accelerator to make it stronger... and get the job done quick.
