new stuff including le frags

we have some really great fish and corals in right now. I'd say the highlights are an aussie harlequin tusk, fisher's angel, gold saddle rabbitfish, a majestic angel, a trio of pygmy angels that play nice together, and an rbta with a pair of ora host percs.

also got in a "shipment" of LE sps corals from a local source. the list includes

real deal tyree superman- this one doesn't lose it's color (1" and 1.5" frags available)
tyree sunset monti (.5" frag available)
leng sy cap
brilliant lilac purple cap
aussie duncan whisker polyps 1-4 head frags available.

these are some sought after frags that are hard to come by the real thing at an lfs on a wysiwyg basis. The sunset and the superman are in the tyree lineage and the purple cap is by far the best cap i've, seen it glows lilac (not like the idaho grape) and has a light blue/purple growth edge.

Most of the fish mentioned sold this weekend!!! But the Limited Edition Tyree sps are still available. Most of the whisker coral frags have more heads than you will pay for bc they have already produced new heads where I fragmented them (the skin healed over and a new polyp formed- super cool). A new fish and coral shipment came in with tons of cool stuff (really nice handpicked lps with nice color and size). Spent all day yesterday dipping and dripping getting everyone ready to go home!

Sea Stars are not the most easily kept creatures... except the ones most people don't really want or already have- brittle and serpents. Especially difficult seem to be the ones we really wanna keep-linkia. I have seen that the easier reef safe brightly colored stars-fromia- are sometimes hard to get and I do not really know why that is- Joker you should consider yourself lucky you've got that awesome Fromia. I hope to get some more in soon and will post as soon as I get them.

both superman are sold. the sunset is still available. a new "shipment" of ORA and LE Corals will be arriving tomorrow from the key coral farm. Some of the highlights are Bali Tricolor, erics red table acropora (fragfarmer), True Blue Oregon Tort, Roscoe's Blue Acro, Nathan's Green Mille, and Idaho grape.

LOL.. and i'd love to have a frag of that... but funds are tight ATM, and i'm treating my Acro's right now (some how Hoang ended up with RB's, and the last addition to his tank came from me, but i have not seen any evidence on any of my coral of RB's, treating just to be on the safe side anyway), and am adding no new additions until treatment is complete.

uh oh the bugs!!! I've had them they don't really seem that destructive and they are easily treatable, my main worries are more aefw bc they are so hard to treat and seem to do more damage. Nothing in my tank was affected by the RB treatment except my crabs got a bit sluggish ( i took out as many as i could) the corals all were completely unaffected except the riddance of the bugs and lots of extra food bc of all the pods floating around!

Yeah, somehow I caught the acro cooties. Not a big deal though with red bugs. I dosed my tank with Interceptor last night and they should be gone by this weekend. I don't think I have given out any frags for a few months, and this infection is defenitely new (I dosed Interceptor to the entire system three months ago).
