Hi all, my name is Christian and I had been doing reefs for about 3-4 years before having to move here in SC (Greenwood). With my new job, settling into a new area I took a reef hiatus and just kept a freshwater tank for a couple months.

Well now that I am settled I'm back reefing. Doing a little bit of research on reefcentral I was led to the PMAC website and came back to this site (Couldn't believe I remembered my info!).

Anyway wanted to introduce my self

I am in the process of building my 40Br Sumpless Reef. Here is my build thread: http://reefcentral.com/forums/showth...readid=1362516

Looking forward to getting to know you reefers out there in SC!

Many thanks y'all Been working a lot on my reef build... lighting today was looooooong. Can't wait to actually get everything else done and some corals! Only two months left... why do I have to do everything all proper for this build?

Welcome aboard. It's always nice to have more locals. I live in Laurens, but am in Greenwood every day.

Man I thought I was going to be the only reefer here! I am fairly new to the area (lived here under a year). I work in Waterloo (Right after the the Greenwood Lake bridge) but live in the city.

Welcome to TRT/PMAC!

I guess the idea of directing traffic from the different sites is working!

Check out the sticky thread above for the next meeting at Bucky's house.

tdwyatt: Directing people from different sites?

The next meeting in April. I am hoping to make it (Depends on the wife's schedule, it's hectic to say the least as she is a resident physician ).

My tank is coming along nicely, I finally got most of the equipment and finsihed most of the tank's build. I am installing the RO/DI right now and of course I screwed up... so off to Lowes I go today, unless work takes me away. Only other piece of equipment I am waiting for is the Octopus BH-100F skimmer.

Only thing left to build is something I;ve been thinking about seriously trying out... building a CPVC rock structure with a small powerhead attached. It kinda kills myKISS ideology but having flow in between the rocks may just be well worth it. Decisions decisions...

Hey guys I am selling some stuff from the Box O Crap I got from Marine Depot. I know.. I couldn't help myself, I had to try it!

I figured since y'all are near and I plan on going to the PMAC Reef Meeting on April 19th, it'd be easier than shipping to anyone.

- Pacific Coast Flow Accelerator (Model FA-400): $5.00 (Orig $14.99)

- Blueline 400W 6.5K Halide Bulb: $15.00 (Orig $65.90)
