Introduction

It has come to my attention that I haven't really ever introduced myself to people here and I don't think I've ever shared a FTS of my system.
I'm Brad and I have been in the aquarium hobby for about 20 years. Started my first Marine tank 3 years ago, sold it after just 6 months and got restarted in the marine hobby a year ago. I converted my high tech planted Discus tank to my current Reef. My tank is now a year old but many of the corals in it are still young since I was originally planning it to be a FOWLR system and I started with just a couple of small frags thanks to Tony. I maintain my tank on the principal of "Keep it simple."
Tank Info:
125gal tank + 20gal sump.
Ocean Runner 6500 return pump
PC lighting (4x96w Coralife Fixture)
Roughly 160lbs of LR
DSB that averages 4" but is as much as 6" in places.
Coral Species are all Softies and LPS.
Fish:
Siganus unimaculatus - One Spot Foxface (my baby)
Zebrasoma veliferum - Sailfin Tang (Foxface's tank buddy, they are inseparable.)
Geniacanthus lamarcks - Lamarcks Angel
Gramma loreto - Royal Gramma
Amphiprion ocellaris - requires no translation LOL (have a pair)
Cirrhilabrus solorensis - Solar Fairy Wrasse (female)
Salarias fasciatus - Lawnmower Blenny

I also have a Serpant Star and a Coral Banded Shrimp.

And this is what it looks like as of last week.

If anyone would like some Pom Pom Xenia, Chaeto, or Kenya Tree, please let me know, these 3 are all growing like mad in this system. Also, my Bubble Coral is "budding" so hopefully I will eventually have a few of these available as well.

This is a very nice looking tank.
We seem to have a lot in common such as: tank size, type of setup, running time, and a few other things. Hopefully we'll get a chance to meet and talk strategy some day.

Nice tank Brad! You need to get a big fat happy clam to put in the middle of your "mountains"

Tank looks good! You need to upgrade and get away from PC lights. Then, you can share in the joys of SPS!

Thanks Hoang, but I'm not even remotely interested. LOL The only SPS I want a part of is a Monti Cap.

Hi Hoang! I haven't seen you out here in a while. I hope everything is well with your family.

im not too sure a capricornis would fare well under a power compact though, but we can give you a frag and try.

I've actually seen it a number of times. A good friend of mine in CA has a couple of Caps thriving under PCs. The key is placing it high in the tank and I don't have glass on top of the tank so there is almost no loss of light from reflection off the top.
