Anyone got a spare 150 watt MH ballast?

My light for the 29 finally got here, but the ballast was trashed in shipping by USPS. Anyone got a spare 150 watt MH ballast that they would let go cheap or loan me for a while until either the insurance pays me or i buy another??

Well, stink. I used it for single ended bulbs. I replied to the PM before I saw this post.

I'm afraid I'm not that educated regarding lighting elements. Wish I could offer more insight about the effects of using a different style bulb. You're more than welcome to use this ballast and I hope it serves you well in the interim. I'll give you a call in a bit!

Glad to hear it. So, what did you have to do to get it working again? Besides the obvious plugging it in.

Well we gave it a valiant effort with my ballast, but it seems all you needed was a little encouragement! That's great news! Seems you are quite the handyman with all your electrical skills. I know your clown will be happy with the new arrangement.

i had to solder the leads back on the transformer, and figure out where a few of the wires went...got it all together though.

well i couldn't leave things alone! i had to go and try to add a fan to my cabinet that the ballast is in, well while drilling one of the holes for the fan guard...yep you guessed it! right into the windings on the ballast! Crap!and it was the last stinkin hole... i had to put a fan in the enclosure because it would get extremely hot in about 2 hours. now on the hunt for a new ballast..AGAIN! once again CRAP! this is cutting into my Controller budget, so i may not be able to get the ACIII afterall.. may have to settle for the Jr

Would my ballast help you now that you got your soldering and wires worked out? It's still available to you if you can use it.
