Well... I did some more work on the tank and got it up to 32x turnover by placing one of the 400L/H powerheads from the spray bar and zip tied a mouse pad to it to silence vibrations. I then moved the rockwork forward a bit and slipped the ph behind it blowing along the back wall to the left attempting to create a gyre like flow pattern. I want more flow in there but want to try to keep 0 viewable cords (hidden behind the filter pipe w/ zip tie). Batteries charging on the cam and its still a bit cloudy so I get some pics later on.

I have been thinking allot about how to maximize flow in this tank, and late last night I decided to build some lifts. The FTS is a quick before shot from this morning just before I added the lifts. Also added another powerhead bumping it up to 45x, but I still need to get them positioned better, but its good enough for now. Anyway Go Giants, and Im off to make some wings.

Thanks Chris. They were such a pain to install, every time I moved one thing a lift fell off.
Ten gallons are so hard to aquascape, but they are almost a "perfect" rectangle.

Thanks kimsie, I had some old tubing laying around, cut it with a saw, and then made the tips sharp with scissors. They ended up being too tall, So I cut em down to about 3/4". They worked pretty well, but were a major pain to install. I'll have some pics up after class.

What kind of tubing? Surely not soft vinyl, right? I thought of going the cheap route and use short pvc pipes in the same manner

No, it was from a under gravel filter tube.
