My tank is at 76 currently and should stay in that area (with office AC and all, and no currently they don't turn it off over weekends) I know that Catalina's like it cooler than most and I am at the upward limit for them....YET another decision point

That is a cool looking workspace. I can only wish they would let me set up something like that at work. Best of luck with it.

Aqua, they take pretty good care of me I can't complain. I actually had an office at my last job and much more prestige, but I was miserable and not doing what I love.
On a NEW note....I got 3 tiny fish! (it might be too many in the long run, but I plan to be judicious with my WCs.
I have 2 Catalina Gobies. They are about an inch long. I also snagged a 1 inch Pajama Cardinal because I wanted something in the free space, since the Gobys normally hang on the rocks. All acclimated just fine!
No pix, hopefully I will get my camera back soon.

We just had a reef club meeting last night and one of the members was loading up her 12 gallon Nano Cube with the small gobies. I also like PJs and you are right, they seem to just hover in one spot most of the time. Congrats on your new additions.

So I added a branch of Hammer into the hole in the front of the right rock.
I also had 2-3 polyps of Hot Pink Zoas that I threw in....no pix since they are still a little unhappy (and sucky camera phone )

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
So my Actinics didn't come on yesterday morning....determined through testing that it is the "ballast" which really is just a power pack....it has enough juice to start the fan if I switch them up, but not enough to power the light
Since I won it, I thought I was going to have some problems, but after a little discussion with Oceanic, they are replacing it.

No Fish yet. I did move a few corals in from the big tank (Gorgonian isn't happy yet. Blasto perched high.
I also added two Poci Corals which I think the Lighting will support. One is the Green Darmicornis and the other is a pink Carnation coral.
If they do well, they will add lots of color and that SPS look.
I've decided that the Hairy Mushroom in the front will be the only shroom as I can see shrooms taking over.
Plan is for some Zoas (got some Tubs Blues and a few other sharp Zoas that are planned) and some fish....looking at a Catalina Goby for starters. Not sure if I'll have 1 fish and 1 shrimp or 2 Fish.....the co-workers are waiting for Nemo of course.

Looks great!! my co-workers look in my tank at my possum wrasse and yell....NEMO!!! what do you.......shake your head in sadness i guess.

Here are some new Pix!!!!
Again with the phone, so not GREAT....
Here is PJ
Here is Isaac (Mikhaela was hiding, and yes they ARE Mike and Ike)
As I indicated earlier, the Actinic ballast is defective so I am waiting on the replacement. I manually switch them when I arrive and depart every day, so the actinics ARE on when the 10K are off. Hopefully everyone is at least a little happy.

I look forward to seeing how Mike and Ike do in the system. And a Pajama huh......i really wanted one (they're so ugly they're awesome) but everything I read about them seemed to think that carried too much of a waste load for an 8g.
