Well my snack is ready and I can't figure out how to edit down the size of the pics, so I'll see if my wife will post them later.

Just remember that the stand isn't totally finished, but its pretty close.

Now we plan to add some water and test for leaks. During the next few days of testing we will decide how the face of the stand will be done and what trim we want to use. We may have a few pics of the tank with water in it yet tonight, but it will just be tap water for testing only.

Now that was worth waiting for. You did a great job on that stand. Is the tile significant? I mean does it match the floor where the stand is going ? It looks good, I like it

No the tile doesn't match anything. We just wanted it to kinda look like the tank was on a piece of marble, and looks even better in person just ask Wiskey LOL. We are happy with the way its turning out so far. The only problem is the tile and the wood were very cold last night when I applied the tile. So I may have to re tile it if the tile decides not to stick, but so far so good.

Thanks for the compliments everyone, I really wanted the stand to look as good as the tank.

On a side note, guess what my wife found when she stopped by our local pet shop to pick up food for our breaded dragon.......................... our biocube for $100 less then we paid last week. So when she got home we went to The Ocean Floor where I bought the tank. I told them what she found, then the The The Ocean Floor called the store she found it at. After they hung up the phone they asked if I wanted an in store credit or the cash refunded to my bank card . I was blown away to say the least that they didn't even hesitate or give me any hassles about it. So I told them an in store credit would be fine. Then they said "in that case we will give you a credit for $110". They said the extra $10 was for any inconvenience caused and the fact that I was still willing to shop there. Now that is some very respectable customer service IMHO. So I will continue to shop there, after all it is right on my way home from work. Just thought I would share because not many place are that customer friendly anymore.

BTW MODs, would it be okay if I change LFS to the name of the store.
