Robert's Finnex M-30

Howdy Folks,

Been lurking around for last couple months and finally took the plunge and purged a finnex M-30 today after being away from the hobby for about 5 or 6 years. Should hopefully have it by next week and have some pictures of set up.

Still going back and forth mentally in regards to inhabitants, but am leaning towards ricordea and zoa's predominantly.

Still no pictures, but did manage to buy my test kits, a TLF phosban reactor, a JBJ drop in UV Sterilizer and 1 Koralia 1... not sure if I will want another or if 1 is enough. Settled on the ACjr as a controller to be ordered sometime next week along with my chiller.

Welp, it's finally here. Received the first of many packagees last night including the M-30, stand acpro jr and ATO. Everything works, although need to do a leak test tonight after work. Only real gripe i have is the stand. Seems a bit flimsy and the instructions for putting it together were absolutely horrible.

Will post some more pics tonight when i get home, but here's the basics:

Can't wait to see it up also. SHould be getting rest of my supplies this week. Not sure on the RO/DI, hopefully Friday. Ran the old one i have from before but there were little white pieces of something coming out initially so not very confident of the quality of water, so ordered a new one.

Out of curiosity, for folks that have been in the hobby for past 7+ years, have you all noticed a decline in the quality of LFS's? Went to 5 here in Miami, 3 from when i was in hobby before and 2 new ones and none of the older ones were as "good" as i recall, one even going so far as to reduce store footage by 1/2. Quality of corals/Livestock was so so, and mark up on dry goods was horrible, almost 2x what is available online. Had originally thought to get my corals locally, but is looking more and more like will be buying online the corals also
