My Nano Reef Build

Hi everyone i am new around here and am from Australia.

The tank i am entering was started on the 5th of january this year and because it is when the comp was started i am asuming that it is ok for me to enter it into the competition. If not let me no

the tank is 2foot X 1foot x 1foot 3inchs
not sure on water volume yet but i will calculate it and post asap.

so far the tank is setup with 10kg of live rock as primary filtration along with a canister filter which has a small amout of media in it. the tank is also hookd up to a hailea 150A chiller to miantain a constant temp of 24 - 25 degrees. i am running a 600l/h powerhead to give good water flow and circulation for all corals and anemones that i plan on adding into the tank.
i currently have 3x blue-green chromis in the tank to test how the tank is going and they will be removed before other livestock is introduced.

Here is a picture of the tank as it stands at the moment. the pic was taken yesterday.

Welcome to the contest and TRT.
Sounds like you should be good to go as far as your start date is concerned.

thanks for the warm welcome everyone it is grate to be here and also thanks for the help with the conversion to gallons guys i didnt have a clue.

I am currently running a dual t5 light setup with 1x 20000k white tube and 1x actinic tube. I am very pleased with the how the lights are working as i have never used t5 lighting before.

Hopefully over the coarse of the year i will be able to build up a nice little nano reef.
Hoping to add some of the nicer livestock this week or the next so i will post pictures and keep you updated when i do.

Definantly plan on stoking with alot of corals. Im not to sure as to what kind of corals i want yet i think i will just go with what catches my eye when i come accross them. i will be slipping down the the coral plantation in my area tmorow and having a good look at what i want. i think i will definantly have to go with a small elegance coral and posible a hammer coral if i can find one.
I will also be putting 1 or 2 anemones in the tank as i plan on keeping a pear of true percula clowns.
I plan on keeping alot of corals and minimal fish. possable only 2 percula clowns and a mandarin(when the tank has a large population of pods) along with a few inverts.

Living in the land down under, you should be able to stock it with some awesome corals.

Hay Mod's, This isn't fair. He gets to cheat.

hey guys i am back.
sorry that i havent been updating but there really isnt alot to update just yet. i have had to spend alot of money on my motorbike racing lately and as a result the tank has unfortunatly taken a back seet to this. however all is good now and i will be back on track within a few weeks.
Unfortunatly i havent got a chance to get any corals yet. i have only added a couple of nice anemones and clown fish into the tank.(i will post pics in the next day or 2)
