Well UPS came and cramming all this stuff into a 28g is going to be like Timmah sticking his Halloween stuff in a 5x10 rental closet.

Wow that tank looks pretty amazing now. I'll take pictures tonight. The Tunze nano is unbelievable and the fixture seems huge for the size of the tank.
Cynthia drove up last night and she is worried the DEA is going to raid us for growing dope or something with that massive lighting going on.

Okay the lights, skimmer and box, heater and Tunze are in and it all looks great. The lighting is really bluish but hopefully will be balanced when something is in it. The oh so patient fair half is ready for the living room to return to normal.
So far this tank is only FO but we are adding rock Friday. So far this guy is doing well.

Oh yeah the water level not up to the top is killing me looking ugly. I have no idea how much displacement the rock adds, but hopefully made enough water.
Oh yeah, the moonlights in this fixture work awesome. I looked last night and they light up everything. We both are glad we got this size tank and not a bigger one which would overwhelm the room (and we get to compete with all the serious players in the build off).

What pump do you have on the Remora? I had a bubble trap with mine too, and I think you have it on backwards...the teeth seem to be on the wrong side.

I have a MJ 1200. This is really screwy because the posts only let you put it on one way so that they rest against the back of the tank. If I reverse it the two spacing posts will stick out into the tank.
It makes no sense to have the skimmer dump into the overflow. I guess I can remove the spacing posts and reverse it, but then how does it stay on?
I wish the manufacturer could maybe spend 20 cents a sheet and maybe 200 bucks for some kid to take a picture and do up an instruction sheet with a picture.

I had the Mag 3 pump on mine. I put the screws on the front and tightened them down as much as I could against the pump to keep the trap from sliding up and down. The pink encrusted dots are the screws. The teeth are supposed to be on the side the pump is on so it skims the surface of the water.
