Those are more great shots Chris! I was thinking about getting a Red Sea Max, but you are making me think a Solano might be the way to go instead.

I'd def reccomend a Solana over the Red Sea Max... I researched both when I was planning the set-up of this tank and the biggest thing to me was that the Solana has Metal Halide lighting, and also a skimmer that actually WORKS. The Red Sea Skimmer is junk and you don't get the "shimmer lines" of Metal Halide. Plus the rimless look is killer.

Wait till you guys see my lagoon tank... its coming together really nice and so far for a DIY, it looks ultra clean. I'm really excited about it.
