New Tank - 265g Build

As some of you might know - We tore down out 150g.
While the 150 was down, we decided to upgrade ... Sold the 150g & picked up a 265g.

Below is a picture of the 150 .. pic is about 3 months old.

This is the new tank - picture was taken @ the sellers house, thats my little sister standing next to it.

The canopy & Stand are NOT finished ... seller never got around to it, as he was also remodelling his house.

Got the tank into our garage, and filled a little water for cleaning

Tank finally inside the house, working on the plumbing - i'm using 1.5" spaflex

another shot of it

fish corner in the garage - Sump/fuge, pump, skimmer (not yet), CA reactor, water change containers.... etc..etc..

filling with RO water for leak test:

almost full:

2 drains in each overflow

pumps are running ... no leaks.

sump:

ran the pumps for about 34 hours .. NO LEAKS.....

drained the tank down to about 1" of water, and started filling with RO/DI

after 22 hours of RO/DI water:

I Know ... i wish it was 30" deep, rather than tall - but it is what it is ... it'll be fine. I'll come out alright.
