cool deal zach...cant wait to see some pics...
thats one reason why mine cycled so fast...was that i was adding ALOT of LR over the past 2 weeks and plus jumped it off my sand bed and filter pad off the 75 so i imediatly(SP) had bacteria introduced into the system...

Personally I wouldn't even chance the CBS (Coral Banded Shrimp) seeing they can be Hit or Miss to say the least with having other inverts in the tank. But, to each there own is all I'm going to say and hope for the best if you do still decide to go through with it.

Zach I think you're due for some updated pictures here. Including that new sump design you're working on.

But I Guess I can UPDATE everyone with whats going on...
I had a leak in the MegaFlow4 Wet/Dry filter I was using, that ended up soaking 2 ft. of carpeting in the room behind the tank (2 ft. deep and the width of the tank). So I ripped everything out of the MegaFlow4 and set it aside. I decided I was going to do a unique sump/ref. that included a 20 gallon long and a 10 gallon long. The way I had it set up was the 90 would drain into the 20 (where the skimmer would be) then the 20 would "overflow" (I unsuccessfully connected them by drilling them and connecting them via bulkheads) into the 10 gal where the ref. would be. After drilling the 20 gal long, which went perfect, I drilled the 1st 10 gallon tank. It cracked at the last second. I then successfully drilled the 2nd 10 gallon tank, but when I connected it to the 20 gallon, me being as smart as I am, tried to move the tank to a different angle (when it was tightened) and sure enough cracked it. I then drilled the 3rd 10 gallon and cracked it just like the first. Oh, and there was a trip to OTP between each of the incidents, so you can imagine how happy I was. I then basically said F*** IT, drove to menards bought acryllic and silicone, and made the 20 gallon long into my sump. Oh, Yes I did cap off the drilled bulkhead (im sure someone would question it lol). I spent the majority of the day assembling the sump and adding the contents of my nano into the 90. Im now in the process of setting all the timers (still have to buy 2 more) and then I should be able to "seal it off" with the canopy, which I am looking forward to! AGAIN pics will be later tonight...
Oh yea, how long does the light for chaeto have to be on in 1 day? I would assume not the full 8+ hours like corals need, but how long? (Im going to be timing that light)

I would just run the light over the chaeto opposite of your display tank lighting. For example, my tank lights are on from 2pm-10pm. So my fuge light comes on at 9:30pm and turns off at 2:30pm. I overlapped the lighting cycle a little bit just because I felt like it...

Did you try to rush too much when drilling the tanks? Or did they get too hot? Sucks that it happened none-the-less. So, did the fixing the Mega4 work like I suggested?

To be honest, I have not even attempted to try to locate the leak in it. I just wanted my tank up and running... Within the next couple days I will find it and post. Sorry no pics yet lol, soon though, very soon.

lol thats good! Its hard finding a time where my girlfriend and I are both home and all the lights are on in the tank. Because god only knows what would happen if she left the house without her camera in her purse... I have some on my phone, if someone can upload pics from there phone to the computer, and would let me send them to them lol, I could post them right now. (I lost the "dock" that my memory card plugs into, otherwise I would do it myself). PM me if you can/will?
